Reporting to the Engineering & Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Storeroom Coordinator is responsible for the administration of the computerized maintenance system and the procurement of spare parts to optimize equipment reliability and efficiency. This role is essential for maintaining a reliable network of vendors and ensuring the maintenance function has the cost-effective, timely support it needs to succeed.

Responsibilities
-Establish and maintain network of outside vendors and suppliers
-Ensure cost effectiveness and timely support of the maintenance function
-Procurement of supplies, equipment and services related to maintenance
-Planning purchasing
-Coordinate their efforts with Maintenance & Finance department to maintain appropriate level of inventory
-Utilize knowledge to purchase goods and services that meet quality requirements and specifications at the best price for the company while maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers
-This individual will be measured by the following performance objectives; maintaining accurate inventory
levels, the accuracy of parts ordered, correct purchasing levels, and scheduling turnaround
-Maintain a extensive database for all orders, keep up to date and provide information for analysis and reporting
-participate in product development or substitute materials
-Attending meetings and calls on time
-Reporting
-Organizing inventory
-Verifying data in the computer system
-Overall inventory management
-Review and process claims
-Advise departments and business units of lead time required to obtain products or services
Qualifications
-Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business or Related filed would be an asset
-Two years experience in a purchasing role
-Experience in the manufacturing industry preferred
-Strong computer skills SAP & Microsoft Office
-Basic mathematical skills - ability to calculate discounts, percentages and averages when required
-Strong communication skills, written and oral
-Strong ability to build relationships
-Ability to work alone and as a team
-Understanding of supply chain and logistics
-Organization Skills
-Time Management
