Responsibilities
Lead and manage a team of maintenance professionals, including technicians and skilled tradespeople, in a unionized setting.
You will oversee the implementation and execution of preventative and corrective maintenance programs to ensure all equipment operates at peak efficiency.
Devise mechanical and electrical solutions to optimize manufacturing output and improve workflow.
Ensure that all maintenance activities adhere to strict company safety protocols and regulatory standards.
You will conduct root cause analysis and troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues to minimize downtime.
Work collaboratively with other departments to support overall production goals and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
3+ years of previous experience as a Maintenance Supervisor or Team Lead in a manufacturing environment.
A Millwright or Electrical trade certification is highly preferred for this Maintenance Supervisor, Day Shift, position.
Solid knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, electronics, and general maintenance processes.
Experience with preventative maintenance programs and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software.
Strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively motivate and lead a team to achieve goals.
