Responsibilities
Carry out scheduled preventative maintenance to reduce downtime
Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
Complete repairs and modifications as per work orders
Inspect equipment, utilities, and building systems, creating work orders when needed
Collaborate with production supervisors to minimize disruptions
Support projects related to equipment upgrades and optimization
Maintain accurate maintenance documentation and keep the shop organized
Qualifications
3rd Year Electrical Apprentice or Journeyman Electrician
Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting preferred
Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently
Comfortable with low/high voltage systems, PLCs, drives, and controls (an asset)
Mechanical aptitude: motors, gearboxes, bearings, hydraulics, pneumatics
Proactive, safety-first mindset with a flexible work style
Must pass pre-employment drug & alcohol testing
