Responsibilities
- Develop, monitor and analyze annual and multi-year budgets in collaboration with various departments.
- Produce monthly management reports, analyze variances, and recommend corrective actions.
- Participate in strategic planning by providing financial forecasts and simulations.
- Support administrative units in managing their financial resources.
- Collaborate on cross-functional projects (process modernization, digital transformation, sustainable development, etc.).
- Develop and update performance tracking tools (dashboards, KPI indicators).
- Contribute to the optimization of budgeting and financial processes.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements specific to the public sector.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, three years in finance or accounting roles (MBA/CPA preferred).
- Advanced analytical skills
- An ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workload
- Seeking to understand business drivers and new ideas.
- A work ethic based on a strong desire to exceed expectations
- Strong Attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to deliver on competing priorities
- Strong knowledge of accounting practices and regulations
- An ability to work independently and self-motivate in a fast-paced and rapidly-changing environment
- Strong interpersonal skills — including written and oral communication skills
