Responsibilities
- Initiate engagement via outbound and inbound communications by phone and email.
Demonstrate expertise and a working knowledge of the product suite to gauge client interest,
accurately answer questions and qualify business development opportunities.
- Discuss partnership opportunities with prospective merchants.
- Work effectively with management team to present business issues and proposed alternatives.
Help develop and evolve PayPlan overall prospecting strategy and approach while
being adaptable to an ever changing environment.
- Deliver against internal business goals while prioritizing the customer experience of potential
partners.
- Update our CRM with details and notes on all communication with leads.
- Develop best practices and efficient processes for growing our merchant partner base.
- Contribute significantly to PayPlan's growth as we scale our core business and
product.
Qualifications
Must-have
- Self-motivated, experience in e-commerce, B2B sales, payments or card acceptance.
- Drive to succeed and exceed goals/KPI’s, while being able to work both independently and
with
the team.
- Experience building, maintaining and growing a pipeline of prospects utilizing advanced
business
development techniques.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex issues.
- Problem-solving skills, attention to detail, strong analytical skills with well-judged decisions.
- Highly driven, self-motivated, target oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced
environment.
- Bilingual French/English
Nice-to-have
- University degree or equivalent
- Fluency in French
- Understanding of Lending, BNPL and POS is an asset
- Experience with Sales enablement tools (Salesforce, Zoominfo, Outreach, Groove) a major
plus
