This hybrid role (3 days in-office) focuses on preparing accurate and timely regulatory reports, ensuring compliance with CDIC requirements, and performing key reconciliations and documentation.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial statements and balance sheet components, exceptional Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUPs, VBA), and the ability to manage large datasets effectively. Excellent communication and collaboration skills are essential for working across finance and compliance teams.
This is a 19-week contract running until September 30, 2025, with a strong possibility of extension based on performance and project needs.
This individual will be responsible for preparing regulatory reports, performing reconciliations, and supporting annual submissions, particularly in alignment with CDIC requirements. The ideal candidate brings strong financial acumen, expert-level Excel skills, and a deep understanding of balance sheets and financial statements.

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
•Prepare accurate and timely regulatory reports and annual submissions.
•Support and prepare documentation and reconciliations for CDIC reporting.
•Conduct deep dives into financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance.
•Analyze and reconcile balance sheet accounts (assets and liabilities).
•Interpret and validate financial statements for reporting purposes.
•Work collaboratively with finance and compliance teams to meet reporting deadlines.
•Handle large datasets for regulatory and financial reporting purposes.
Qualifications
Must-Have Skills & Experience:
•4–5 years of experience in data manipulation and financial reporting.
•Expert-level Excel skills including PivotTables, VLOOKUPs and VBA
•Strong understanding of balance sheets (assets and liabilities).
•Proficient in financial statement analysis and reconciliation.
•Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
Nice-to-Have:
•CPA designation will be a bonus
•Working knowledge of IFRS standards.
•Experience with regulatory filings or reporting processes.
•Familiarity with TM1 and/or SQL for data handling and reporting.
