Shift: Mon–Fri 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Days)

We are looking for a "Machinist's Machinist." This isn't a high-volume production line; this is a high-precision repair environment in the heart of Nisku. We need someone who can walk up to a manual machine and "feel" the cut, specializing in one-off repairs and custom fabrication.

The Schedule: Straight days—home every evening and weekend.
The Package: * 3% RRSP Matching (after 1 year)

Responsibilities
80% Manual Operations: Setup and operation of large Manual Lathes (Engine Lathes), Vertical Boring Mills, and Horizontal Milling Machines.
20% CNC Support: Basic setup and operation of CNC units (Fanuc/Mazak) to support the manual workflow when required.
Heavy Repair: Handling large-scale components, re-cutting threads, and boring out heavy industrial parts.
Precision: Maintaining tight tolerances on critical-path equipment for the Oil & Gas and Heavy Construction industries.
Qualifications
Manual Mastery: Minimum of 5+ years of dedicated Manual Machining experience is strictly required.
Trade Expertise: Journeyman Red Seal preferred, or equivalent years of documented "old school" shop experience.
Tooling: Expert use of all precision measuring instruments (micrometers, verniers, bore gauges).
Location: Must be able to commute to Nisku daily for a 6:00 AM start.
Urgency: Position is open for an immediate start.
