Location: Nisku, AB
Shift: Mon–Fri 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Straight Days)
Environment: Custom Heavy Repair Job Shop
The Role: 80% Manual / 20% CNC We need a "Machinist's Machinist" for high-precision repairs in Nisku. This isn’t a boring production line; it's a specialty shop for one-off fabrication. You must be able to "feel" the cut on manual machines and handle complex, heavy equipment restoration.

Responsibilities
Manual Mastery: Setup/operate large Engine Lathes, Vertical Boring Mills, and Horizontal Mills.
CNC Support: Use Fanuc/Mazak controls to assist manual workflows on a 20% basis.
Heavy Duty Repair: Re-cutting threads and boring out massive industrial components.
Critical Precision: Maintain ultra-tight tolerances for O&G and Heavy Construction sectors.
Qualifications
Experience: 5+ years of dedicated Manual Machining is strictly required for this role.
Certification: Journeyman Red Seal is preferred, or equivalent "old school" shop expertise.
Precision Tools: Expert-level use of micrometers, verniers, and various bore gauges.
Reliability: Must commute to Nisku for a 6:00 AM start. Position is open for immediate hire.
