Responsibilities
-Process Optimization: Continuously review and improve existing manufacturing processes to meet and exceed cycle time targets.
-Documentation & Planning: Develop and release critical manufacturing documents, including PFMEA, Process Flow charts, Work Instructions, Control Plans, and Feasibility studies.
-System Management: Create and maintain the MBOM, BOP, and required routings within systems such as Teamcenter (TC) and D365.
-Equipment & Tooling: Oversee the development and installation of manufacturing and packaging equipment, including specializations in robotics, laser welding, and vision systems.
-Change Management: Ensure Engineering Change Requests (ECR) and Manufacturing Change Requests (MCR) are implemented according to project timelines.
-Safety Leadership: Promote a "Safety First" approach, maintaining a zero-accident culture and monitoring accident prevention protocols.
Qualifications
-Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Industrial Engineering or a related technical field.
-Experience: * Minimum of 3 years in a manufacturing engineering role.
-Proven experience within the Automotive sector.
-Background in project management and product development (considered a strong asset).
-Technical Skills: * Proficiency in process design, layout creation, and time measurement methods.
-Strong working knowledge of LEAN manufacturing, FMEA, MSA, and SPC.
-Familiarity with systems like PLM, D365, and MES.
-Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities and communication skills across all levels of the organization.
