Responsibilities
• Be responsible for creating the manufacturing file.
• Define the optimal assembly sequence while respecting health and safety regulations and technical constraints.
• Create work schedules in accordance with the assembly sequence.
• Create appropriate visual work instructions based on the production environment. The format can be 3D (Industry 4.0) or 2D depending on the type of assembly.
• Support the production launch of new work schedules.
• Maintain the manufacturing file (work schedule, work instructions) up to date.
• Establish standards for the creation of work schedules and work instructions. • Promote a culture of continuous improvement based on problem-solving techniques as well as Kaizen, Six Sigma, Lean, Design Thinking, and Agile concepts.
• Define, monitor, and track project progress, milestones, and checkpoints.
• Implement manufacturing file improvement projects.
• Be proactive and contribute to the Industry 4.0 shift of our manufacturing processes.
• Work collaboratively with various teams: Engineering, Production, Project Managers, and IT.
Qualifications
Qualifications and Skills
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Industrial Methods
• Proficiency in reading and understanding assembly drawings;
• Proficiency in manipulating 3D models
• Proficiency in executing industrial projects;
• Knowledge of PLM, MPMlink, and Créoview (an asset)
• Knowledge of the manufacturing environment and its challenges.
• Strong communication skills (written and oral). Leadership, teamwork, and change management skills.
• Comfortable in a distributed work environment, both remotely and occasionally in the office if required for the position.
• Bilingualism (French and English) required.
