In this dynamic role, you will sit within the Trading Market Risk team, providing independent oversight, monitoring, and analysis of enterprise-wide regulatory submissions with a core focus on liquidity data. Work Model: Hybrid, 4 days in downtown Toronto.
Contract Duration: March 19th, 2027 start timeline, with a strong possibility of extension or permanent conversion based on performance and business needs.

Responsibilities
As a Market Risk Regulatory Reporting Analyst, your day-to-day accountabilities will include:
• Supporting various regulatory submission processes by independently identifying, measuring, analyzing, and monitoring reported exposures (including H4 Collateral and Pledging, Securities Holding Return, 2L EB-ET Liabilities, and Institution-to-Institution Funding).
• Executing detailed reconciliations across source systems, liquidity reporting platforms, general ledger balances, and regulatory returns to ensure complete data integrity.
• Investigating data quality exceptions, reporting discrepancies, and control issues, collaborating with internal business and technology partners to drive timely resolution.
• Monitoring daily production processes and critical reporting controls to guarantee adherence to strict regulatory deadlines and service level agreements.
• Executing infrastructure and system changes in line with updated regulatory requirements, Market Risk change control procedures, and EUC standards.
• Cross-training across related team processes and maintaining a strong grasp of analytical principles underlying financial product pricing and risk management.
Qualifications
Must Haves:
• Education: Undergraduate or graduate degree in Risk Management, Business, Economics, Mathematics, Finance, or a related quantitative field.
• Experience: 5 to 10 years of overall experience within the Banking/Financial Institution sector, specifically focused on Collateral and/or Liquidity Risk measurement and reporting.
• Regulatory Expertise: Hands-on experience interpreting regulatory guidelines and executing regulatory filings.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and a solid understanding of risk management, governance, compliance, and control practices.
• Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate across all organizational levels.
• Core Competencies: Proactive mindset, high attention to detail, strong critical thinking, and the ability to thrive under deadline-driven pressure.
Nice to Haves:
• Experience or familiarity with Risk, Valuations, and/or specialized reporting systems.
• Programming skills in VBA, Python, or SQL to enhance, automate, and optimize risk management infrastructure.
