The daily tasks of the material handling equipment operator consist of receiving and shipping, inventory management and forklift operations ensuring inventory accuracy and the smooth flow of goods. This position requires at least 1 year of experience in forklift operation with reach or dock stocker.
You must also be comfortable working with a computer.
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Salary: $22/hour

Responsibilities
As a Material handling equipment operator yours responsabilities will be:
• Unload trucks, check merchandise, and prepare orders for shipment.
• Accurately put away and pick goods. (50% of the role).
• Participate in cycle counting and ensure inventory accuracy using a computer.
• Safely operate a reach truck and a stand-up dock stocker.
Qualifications
What is expected of the Material handling equipment operator :
• Have permanent resident status or Canadian citizenship.
• At least 1 year of experience in forklift operation with reach raymond or dock stocker.
• Need to see your forklift licence even if it expired or internal.
• Ability to perform physical work and lift loads repeatedly.
• Ability to use technological tools like a computer.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy when preparing orders.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing and logistics environment.
