Responsibilities
Lead production planning and scheduling activities based on sales forecasts and operational needs
Maintain optimal inventory levels to ensure timely material availability
Communicate and coordinate with suppliers, resolve discrepancies, investigate root causes, and recommend process improvements
Build and manage strong relationships with vendors and suppliers
Negotiate pricing and terms for the purchase of materials
Identify and implement cost-saving strategies and improvements to supply chain logistics
Collaborate with the yard team and internal departments for material ordering, pickups, returns, servicing, and invoice approvals
Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the inventory management system
Conduct regular inventory analyses and reporting
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain, inventory, or materials management
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Excellent organizational and logistical abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new inventory or ERP software systems
High attention to detail and strong analytical thinking skills
Collaborative and team-oriented mindset
