As a heavy equipment mechanic, your responsibilities will be to:
Inspect, repair, and maintain equipment
Read and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics
Perform field repairs on job sites when necessary
Carry out any other related tasks
Qualifications
As a heavy equipment mechanic, the requirements are:
Vocational diploma (DEP) in mechanics or a related field
5 years of experience
Experience with hydraulic equipment, cranes, or mobile cranes (an asset)
Strong troubleshooting skills and a solid grasp of theoretical concepts
