Responsibilities
Responsibilities of the Heavy Vehicle Mechanic Position in Montreal
Perform regular maintenance on vehicles and ground support equipment.
Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on the company's specific trucks.
Replace and repair defective components, then reassemble the equipment.
Conduct comprehensive diagnostics of mechanical breakdowns.
Complete work orders, handle invoicing, and keep service history up to date.
Strictly adhere to health and safety programs and practices.
Qualifications
Qualifications for This Heavy Vehicle Mechanic Position in Montreal
A Vocational Diploma (DEP) in heavy machinery mechanics, heavy vehicle mechanics, or construction equipment mechanics is essential.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in heavy vehicle mechanical maintenance or a related field.
Experience in heavy machinery maintenance, including electronics, electricity, and hydraulics.
Possession of a valid driver's license.
Good computer skills.
