Responsibilities
Your Daily Responsibilities
The role of the Project Manager is central to the success of our mandates. Your tasks will be varied and will have a direct impact on client satisfaction and the company's profitability. You will be expected to:
Handle the complete planning and rigorous cost control of projects.
Participate in the design and estimation of HVAC projects as needed.
Negotiate and purchase the necessary equipment and materials.
Manage and follow up on subcontractor contracts.
Supervise quality control on job sites in the Laval area and its surroundings.
Approve technical drawings and ensure their compliance.
Coordinate the activities of the various teams and partners involved.
Ensure the application of and compliance with occupational health and safety (OHS) standards.
Qualifications
Qualifications We're Looking For
We are seeking a Project Manager who values hands-on experience and has in-depth knowledge of the HVAC-R sector. We appreciate resourcefulness and the ability to manage projects autonomously. For this position covering Laval and the Laurentides, we want to meet candidates who possess:
3 to 10 years of experience in the HVAC-R industry, ideally gained with a specialized contractor.
Solid field experience in project management.
A DEC in building mechanics, an AEC in estimating, or any other relevant training is considered an asset.
Fluency in French is essential.
Knowledge of Maestro software is a definite advantage.
