Responsibilities
As a Middle-office OTC Derivatives Analyst, your core responsibilities will include:
Managing day-to-day activities, including reconciliation, issuing and responding to margin calls, and investigating collateral breaks.
Providing top-tier client service by promptly and accurately responding to inquiries from both internal and external stakeholders.
Executing daily tasks such as pricing and analyzing price movements for listed derivatives and reconciling them against third-party statements.
Valuating OTC/alternative instruments and assessing the impact of market data changes.
Acting as the primary liaison between investment managers and the internal trades processing team for new deals.
Participating in research to determine the appropriate valuation methodology for new and complex OTC products.
Driving process improvements and identifying opportunities to streamline workflows and boost productivity.
Ensuring compliance with all policies and procedures.
Qualifications
Must-Haves:
5-9 years of relevant experience in derivatives analysis
A strong, demonstrable understanding of the Collateral Management process
Hands-on experience with custody knowledge
Advanced Excel (VBA)
Nice-to-Haves:
Experience with Access database
Securities experience
Enrolment in CSC/CGA/CMA/CFA or other recognized accredited program is desirable
Working knowledge of GAAP
Bloomberg
