Responsibilities
- Perform fitting and welding operations on a variety of materials, including carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum
- Utilize GMAW/MIG welding techniques to meet detailed customer specifications.
- Interpret complex blueprints to fabricate components and ensure all parts meet quality standards.
- Collaborate with team members on fixture concepts and ensure parts are correctly prefabricated.
- Safely operate grinding and torch cutting equipment while adhering to all company safety protocols and regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to support maximum production efficiency and attention to detail.
Qualifications
- Completion of Grade 12 or an equivalent educational background.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional welding experience is required.
- Experience with MIG/GMAW welding
- Proven ability to read, understand, and interpret complex blueprints.
- Prior experience operating an overhead crane or other lifting equipment is a strong asset.
