Responsibilities
- Perform various MIG welding techniques across diverse material types to meet exact fabrication specifications.
- Utilize and safely maneuver overhead cranes to position and handle heavy materials and components.
- Apply your skills in heavy-duty welding to fabricate substantial structures and large weldments, such as parts for mining and off-road vehicles.
- Uphold and strictly follow all established Occupational Health & Safety Regulations and company protocols to maintain a secure working environment.
- Maintain accurate tolerances while welding and finishing components with a keen focus on precision.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of recent experience performing MIG Welding in a heavy fabrication or manufacturing environment.
- Prior experience with heavy-duty welding and working on large weldments is a strong asset.
- Mandatory successful completion of a practical weld test as part of the formal interview process to confirm technical competency.
- Mandatory certification or proficiency in operating an overhead crane.
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently with minimal direct supervision as a dedicated MIG Welder.
