Responsibilities
Proven experience in welding (MIG/TIG), fabricating, troubleshooting, repairing, and rebuilding equipment, including pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical systems, and general facility maintenance.
Able to read and interpret technical drawings, circuit diagrams, and electrical code specifications to plan wiring layouts and identify potential issues.
Works independently on mechanical systems such as pumps, conveyors, agitators, gearboxes, and compressors.
Demonstrates initiative and accountability by proactively addressing equipment issues and taking corrective action to ensure optimal operation.
Strong troubleshooting skills with a focus on resolving issues efficiently and effectively.
Actively monitors equipment performance and performs immediate repairs when necessary.
Supports line changeovers and process equipment setups, as directed by supervisors or managers, and suggests improvements to enhance line efficiency.
Coordinates and schedules required external service providers as needed.
Willing and able to work a rotating flexible schedule.
Qualifications
- Valid 433A Industrial Millwright license
- Minimum 3-5 years experience in a manufacturing industry (Food Industry is a preferred)
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule
