Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for diagnosing and remedying mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues across the production facility.

Responsibilities
- Trade Compliance: Perform all duties in accordance with the Regulated Trade 433A Industrial Mechanic Millwright standards.
- Maintenance & Repair: Execute preventive maintenance and repairs on welders, weld fixtures, and all other facility equipment.
- Precision Measurement: Read and interpret micrometers, verniers, and other precision measuring instruments.
- Machine Operation: Operate machine tools including lathes, mills, and grinder drills.
- System Knowledge: Apply working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and air/hydraulic logic controls.
- Mechanical Alignment: Align shafts, couplings, motors, and drivers; scrape and bed bearing ways, slides, and gibs.
- Troubleshooting: Determine the cause of breakdowns and establish corrective actions; monitor press performance via sound and visual inspection to prevent damage.
- Lubrication Systems: Troubleshoot automatic lubrication systems to ensure proper flow to all machine points.
- Fabrication: Remove broken components and repair via welding or complete refitting and reassembling of replacement parts.
Qualifications
- Valid 433a - millwright license
- Ability to work all three shifts
- Prior experience working in an automotive sector would be considered an asset
