The Mold Maintenance Operator will focus on conducting preventive maintenance, remove and replace mold in preses, cleaning and storage of all injection and compression molds onsite. We need someone with previous forlift and crane operation experience and licence.
Prior injection molding experience in silicone or plastics would be preferable

Responsibilities
- Remove and replace mold in preses , including maintenance and storage
- minor troubleshooting and recommend process improvement related to quality of productIdentify and communicate mold/ machine issues to supervisor
- follow startup procedure for removing and replacing mold
- Ice blast, media blast, drill pots and replacing vacuum seal
- perform preventive maintenance on injection mold tooling
Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Crane/Scissor Lift/ Reach LIft Truck experience and certification
- Previous experince working with Plastic Injection Molding, Rubber Molding or Silicone Molding
- 1-2 years experience in a manufacturing environment with some knowledge of robots
- mechanical aptitude
- excellent communication skills
- Ability to lift 20-70lbs repeatedly
