Responsibilities
-Manage daily financial entries, filing, and mail sorting to ensure accurate records.
-Reconcile employee timesheets, review hours for accuracy, and organize payroll processing.
-Interact with suppliers regarding orders and billing; follow up with customers regarding payments and inquiries.
-Use of Microsoft Excel and accounting software (Sage50) to maintain organizational data.
-Professionally answer and forward phone calls and voicemails; welcome and accommodate visitors to the office.
-Manage company vehicle records, insurance renewals, and maintenance schedules.
-Organize company events, including travel arrangements and accommodations.
-Ensure office areas are clean, organized, and professional at all times.
Qualifications
-1+ year of experience as an Administrative Assistant and 1+ year of dedicated bookkeeping experience.
-High School Diploma required; post-secondary education in Office Administration or Accounting is a significant asset.
-Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Word & Excel). Familiarity with Sage50 or similar accounting software is preferred.
-Exceptional oral and written communication skills with a professional demeanor.
-Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
-Must possess a Valid Ontario Driver’s License and have access to a reliable personal vehicle.
