You will serve as the technical subject matter expert responsible for optimizing the calculation engine, developing script-based financial logic, and ensuring seamless data processing across the application landscape. Responsibilities
Business Rule Engineering: Architect, write, and maintain custom OneStream finance business rules, consolidation logic, and dynamic calculation scripts using VB.NET or C#.
Calculation Engine Optimization: Utilize XF expression functions (e.g., FilterMembers, GetDataCell, SetDataBuffer, Calculate) to execute complex data transformations and optimize calculation runtimes.
Metadata & Dimension Design: Construct precise dimension member filters leveraging metadata properties, ensuring proper data alignment and cube behavior.
Relational Data Integration: Write SQL queries inside rule logic to read driver tables and operational metadata directly from OneStream Relational Tables (XF Relational Tables).
API Development & Maintenance: Leverage OneStream's api.Data methods and the BRApi namespace to extend platform capabilities, automate operational tasks, and build custom utility tools.
Platform Performance & Security: Govern execution order, locking models, and data security pass-throughs to ensure optimal system performance and auditability during financial close cycles.
Qualifications
OneStream Development Mastery: Demonstrated hands-on experience designing, developing, and supporting OneStream EPM applications, with a heavy emphasis on business rules and calculation engine logic.
Scripting Languages: Expert-level proficiency writing and debugging custom logic in VB.NET or C# within the OneStream environment.
Core Function Expertise: Deep practical knowledge of XF functions (FilterMembers, GetDataCell, SetDataBuffer, Calculate) and dimension member filter construction using metadata attributes.
API & Namespace Proficiency: Strong, referenceable experience utilizing api.Data methods and the BRApi namespace.
SQL & Relational Databases: Functional ability to write and embed SQL queries to interact with driver tables in relational databases (XF Relational Tables).
Financial Model Acuity: Strong understanding of OneStream's execution order, locking model, financial consolidation principles, and multi-dimensional cube architecture.
Location Requirement: Must be legally eligible to work and residing within Canada.
