Responsibilities
Full-Stack MERN Development: Architect, develop, test, and deploy feature enhancements, bug fixes, and technical performance improvements using MongoDB, Express, React, and Node.js.
Technical Documentation & Build Books: Author, update, and maintain detailed technical documentation, including operational build books, deployment scripts, release management protocols, and support guides.
Architecture & Solution Modeling: Create and refine solution design artifacts, data models, system flow diagrams, and architectural specifications.
Cloud & DevOps Integration: Manage source code repositories, configure automated CI/CD deployment pipelines, and maintain release workflows using Azure DevOps and Git.
Security & Compliance Standards: Enforce IT security best practices, implement modern authentication protocols (OAuth 2.0, SAML), and ensure solution compliance with digital accessibility standards (AODA).
Governance & Architecture Reviews: Collaborate with technical leads to support security, privacy, and architecture review processes by providing implementation expertise and technical inputs.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Knowledge Transfer: Work closely with business analysts, project leads, and technical teams to gather requirements, resolve system issues, and deliver comprehensive knowledge transfer for operational supportability.
Qualifications
MERN Stack Seniority: 7+ years of hands-on full-stack software development experience using the MERN (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js) technology stack (Strictly Required).
Technical & Operational Documentation: 4+ years of experience developing and maintaining comprehensive technical documentation, including build books, deployment procedures, and release management guides (Strictly Required).
Solution Design Artifacts: Demonstrated experience updating and maintaining solution architecture models, diagrams, and design specifications (Strictly Required).
DevOps & Version Control: Proven experience using Git, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines for source control and automated release deployments (Strictly Required).
Accessibility & Security Protocols: Practical experience building AODA-compliant applications and implementing authentication protocols such as OAuth 2.0 and SAML.
Agile Software Delivery: Strong track record working within collaborative Agile software development teams.
Nice-to-Have Assets:
