Responsibilities

Onsite Support and Troubleshooting: Provide rapid, in-person technical support to diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
Installation and Configuration: Set up and configure workstations, printers, servers, and network equipment such as switches, routers, and cabling.
Infrastructure Maintenance: Ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including server rooms and production systems.
Documentation and Ticketing: Maintain accurate tracking of requests, resolutions, and inventory using a ticketing system.
Project Support: Participate in equipment deployments, technical upgrades, and the reorganization of office or production areas.
Health and Safety: Adhere to occupational health and safety standards as well as site-specific policies.
Qualifications
Here are the qualifications required for this Onsite IT Technician at this Eyewear Retail leader in Saint-Laurent;
Good knowledge of Windows, macOS, and/or Linux operating systems, as well as computer hardware.
Practical experience with basic networking concepts (switches, routers, cabling).
Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to simplify technical concepts.

Physical capacity to lift equipment (up to 50–70 lbs) and work in various positions (standing, bending, reaching).
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation may be required.
Assets: Certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Microsoft, Cisco, or ITIL) and experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
