Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Act as the primary administrative contact for the distribution center.
Coordinate onsite activities involving visitors, temporary employees, and vendors.
Ensure compliance with local safety and regulatory requirements.
Assist the leadership team in collecting, analyzing, and reporting performance metrics.
Lead or support projects aimed at improving safety, efficiency, quality, and cost control.
Maintain strong relationships with vendors, property management, and internal teams.
Oversee facility maintenance, equipment management, and any construction or expansion projects.
Coordinate employee certifications and training (e.g., dangerous goods, forklift operation).
Support other departments (Quality, HR, IT) with training coordination, internal initiatives, and company events.
Provide general administrative support, including budgeting, procurement negotiations, and documentation.
Qualifications
Profile Sought:
At least 2 years of experience in an administrative support role.
1–2 years of experience with graphic software (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop).
Experience managing supplier/vendor relationships.
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Bilingual (French and English) – required.
Knowledge of continuous improvement principles and methodology is a strong asset.
