Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: reviewing cases and escalations related to short-term and long-term disability benefits; updating beneficiary forms (via mail); providing operational support; ensuring business objectives, service level goals, and targets are met; maintaining partner relationships; identifying and escalating areas of risk; participating in process improvements; and adhering to bank policies and procedures. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent quantitative and analytical skills, strong organizational and time management abilities, and attention to detail.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications include a High School Diploma and 2 years of relevant experience (benefits or insurance background is an asset). Strong written and verbal communication skills, proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel), and presentation skills are essential. Payroll/accounting (reconciliation) experience is a plus.
