The Operations Officer will be integral to the Estates team, managing the workflow of incoming files and ensuring their accurate and timely processing. Your primary focus will be on the back-office management of estate files, including initial triage, in-depth review, and accurate system updates. This role requires precision, strong communication skills for effective partnership, and the ability to maintain high productivity while adhering to strict SLAs.
The role is hybrid (with a training period that's fully onsite for 3−4 weeks) with a current RTO schedule of two days onsite (Tuesday is an anchor day). Please note, the RTO policy is subject to change, potentially moving to four days onsite beginning November 3 rd ,2025 or the New Year. The work location is Mississauga

SLA Adherence: Consistently meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for file processing and internal turnaround times.
Internal Communication: Liaise effectively with internal partners and stakeholders regarding file status and required actions.
Operational Support: Contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the Credit Centre Operations team through reliable back-office support.
Qualifications
Required Hard Skills
Banking Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of overall work experience, with significant experience in a banking or financial services environment.
SLA Management: Proven ability to meet and maintain service level agreements (SLAs).
Customer Service: Prior experience in a customer service-related role, demonstrating strong client focus (back-office context is acceptable).
Technical Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite, particularly Excel for spreadsheet management.
Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and file review.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Work Environment: Demonstrated experience working effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and as part of a team.
Required Soft Skills
Critical Thinking: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess estate files and determine appropriate next steps.
Collaboration: A proven track record of working effectively and productively within a team setting.
Nice-to-Have Skills & Assets
Previous experience working with Estates (wills, death certificates, etc.).
High emotional intelligence.
