As a Credit Application Analyst, you will be accountable for a range of responsibilities focused on Real Estate Secured Lending products, ensuring a high level of quality and compliance. Your daily duties will include:
Operational Support: Provide consistent operational support to the Sales Channel and Credit Underwriting teams, maintaining a strong Customer Centric mindset.
Documentation Analysis & Compliance: Review, update, and analyze all credit documentation to ensure accuracy and strict adherence to all regulatory and legal requirements.
Data Integrity: Ensure complete and accurate data input into the origination system to assist in the preparation of loan documentation.
Stakeholder Guidance: Provide guidance and support to internal business partners on a broad range of credit products and operational processes.
Service Level Management: Prioritize and manage your workload to meet established Service Level Agreement (SLA) requirements for service and productivity.
Risk Mitigation: Follow internal operating policies and procedures, escalating non-standard or high-risk activities as necessary.
Problem Resolution: Address partner or customer problems appropriately, efficiently, and escalate as needed, ensuring timely resolution.
Qualifications
Must-Have Requirements
Experience: Previous professional experience in a corporate or office environment.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with internal partners.
Problem-Solving: Proven ability to analyze information, identify problems, and propose effective solutions.
Education: Post-secondary education (College diploma or University degree).
Location: Must be local and able to adhere to a mandatory primarily onsite work model (4 days a week) in Markham, ON.
Nice-to-Have Skills
Previous experience or knowledge of mortgage lending concepts.
