The Operations Officer is responsible for the timely and accurate processing of financial and non-financial transactions within Registered Plans Wealth Operations. This role is crucial for maintaining excellent service levels and ensuring a seamless experience for clients and business partners. Location: On-site (5 days/week) at 77 Bloor Street West Corporate 9th Floor, Toronto, Ontario
Duration: 5 months (with possibility of extension and/or conversion)
Schedule: M-F, Core Business Hours (8:30 AM - 5:00 PM)

Responsibilities
Transaction Processing: Accurately and timely process a high volume of financial and non-financial transactions.
Service & Compliance: Adhere strictly to Service Level Agreements (SLAs), internal service delivery standards, and all firm/industry regulations.
Risk Management: Escalate non-standard, high-risk transactions, or identified risk issues/process gaps appropriately and complete required investigations.
Process Efficiency: Prioritize and manage personal workload to meet service and productivity requirements. Multi-task effectively across multiple applications and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
Team Collaboration: Participate fully as a member of a close-knit, collaborative team; keep colleagues informed of progress, and contribute to a positive work environment.
System Utilization: Know and apply system capabilities, ensuring timely and accurate upload/download of information. Assist in the analysis and implementation of process improvements.
Qualifications
Required Skills (Must-Haves)
Education: Post-secondary degree or diploma, ideally with coursework in finance or business.
Experience: 2-4 years of relevant overall experience (flexible).
Technical Proficiency: Strong technical skills/background and comfort using various applications (e.g., creating End-User Computing applications - EUCs).
Software Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
Soft Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Mindset: Customer service oriented (handling professional emails and phone calls as required).
Availability: Must be able to work legally in Canada for the contract duration and have no extended vacation plans (more than 2 days) during the contract.
Preferred Skills (Nice-to-Haves)
Prior banking, financial institution, or corporate work experience.
Product knowledge of Registered Savings Plans (RSPs) and Tax-Free Savings Accounts (TFSAs).
Familiarity with Macros.
Prior formal customer service experience.
