Compensation: $25.50/hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Responsibilities
Reconciliation & Balancing: Perform daily reconciliation of CDN and US trade settlements and various suspense accounts.
Break Investigation: Proactively identify "breaks" (discrepancies), investigate the root cause, and determine the responsible party.
Communication: Coordinate with internal teams and external street counterparties to communicate discrepancies and ensure timely corrections.
Documentation: Maintain organized records for audit purposes in accordance with corporate retention policies.
Quality Control: Ensure all transactions follow due diligence and quality verification protocols.
Risk Mitigation: Escalate immediate concerns or unresolved problems to management to ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Qualifications
Education: Post-secondary degree or diploma, preferably in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Experience: 2–3 years of professional experience in reconciliations, balancing accounts, or financial operations.
Technical Skills: * Advanced Excel proficiency (v-lookups, pivot tables, and the ability to run macros).
Experience working with financial repositories.
Soft Skills:
Meticulous attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
Strong verbal and written communication skills for cross-team collaboration.
Quick learner with the ability to work under tight deadlines and pressure.
Preferred Assets:
Previous experience in the banking or securities industry.
Knowledge of equities trading, CDS, DTC, or Kyndryl systems.
Canadian Securities Course (CSC) certification.
