The Operations Officer III is a critical member of the Business Banking Fulfillment team. Operations Officer (Business Banking)
Location: Mississauga, ON
Work Model: Hybrid (4 days onsite per week; rotating Monday/Friday onsite monthly)
Duration: 6-Month Contract (Start Date: late March 2026)

Responsibilities
Credit Fulfillment: Review complex credit documentation, program funds, and issue disbursements accurately and in accordance with established policies.
Operational Execution: Execute specialized transactions and overrides, ensuring all actions are in line with internal guidelines and regulatory frameworks (e.g., AML, Business Continuity).
Problem Resolution: Identify and escalate operational issues, collaborating with internal partners and external solicitors to facilitate timely resolutions.
Process Improvement: Provide analysis on root causes of operational friction and recommend solutions to improve service delivery and efficiency.
Risk Management: Protect the organization's interests by identifying risks, ensuring confidentiality, and adhering to enterprise methodologies to mitigate potential impacts.
Support & Collaboration: Support team members and leadership with ad-hoc projects, change management initiatives, and training as required.
Qualifications
Education: Post-secondary degree preferred.
Experience: 3–5 years of professional experience, specifically within Banking or Credit Operations.
Hard Skills:
Strong background in credit fulfillment and documentation.
Proven ability to meet or exceed strict 24-hour Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Experience managing complex transactions and overrides.
Soft Skills:
High level of coachability and a collaborative, team-player mindset.
Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Discretion when handling sensitive customer data and confidential information.
Language: French bilingualism is considered a significant asset.
