As an Operations Officer, you will provide essential support within our Operations & Technology functional area. You will handle specialized transactions, manage electronic filings, and ensure that our internal service level goals are met with 100% accuracy. You will spend your day-to-day ensuring the "gears" of the financial engine are turning smoothly through meticulous data management and client communication.

Work Environment: On-site (Downtown Hub)
Duration: 6-Month Contract (Potential for Extension or Permanent Conversion)
Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Responsibilities
Operational Support: Create and draft professional correspondence/letters to be sent to clients, ensuring a deep understanding of the underlying financial context.
Data Integrity: Execute high-volume data entry and management using MS Excel with a focus on precision and error-free deliverables.
Document Management: Manage incoming mail, including scanning, digital filing, and organizing electronic records for the department.
Process Adherence: Comply with established bank codes of conduct and audit guidelines to identify and escalate risks as necessary.
Team Collaboration: Participate in daily huddles to align on work distribution and contribute to a positive, flexible team culture.
Qualifications
Education: College certification required, ideally with a focus on Finance, Trade Processing, or Business Administration.
Experience: 3–5 years of overall professional experience, preferably within a trade processing or back-office operational role.
Product Knowledge: Familiarity with cash products (Loans, Deposits, Swaps, and Forwards) or Money Market/FX products (Options, Spots) is highly preferred.
Technical Skills: * Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel is a must).
Strong electronic filing and organizational skills.
Soft Skills: A "nothing-is-too-small" attitude, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
