As an Operations Officer II, you will play a critical role in the back-office execution of loan programming and security documentation. You will be responsible for the accurate preparation of solicitor correspondence and the charging of securities/mortgages. This is a one-year contract position with the potential for both extension and permanent conversion based on performance and business needs.
Location: Edmonton, AB
Structure: Primarily onsite.
Training: 5 days a week onsite until completion.
Post-Training: A hybrid model consisting of 4 days onsite and 1 day WFH.
Hours: Rotational shifts (Monday – Friday) ranging from 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM to 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM.
Pay Rate: 25.94

Responsibilities
Security & Mortgage Processing: Accurately charge securities and mortgages in accordance with internal protocols.

Team Collaboration: Work within a pooled-volume environment, supporting a team of six to ensure all daily productivity and quality targets are met.
Communication: Participate in daily team meetings and maintain active, clear communication with colleagues via Microsoft Teams.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Quick Learner: Ability to grasp complex financial processes and software quickly.
Tech Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel.
Strong Communicator: Excellent verbal and written communication skills (essential for team syncs and solicitor correspondence).
Team Player: A positive attitude with a proven ability to work well in a "pooled volume" environment where everyone helps finish the day's work.
Nice-to-Have:
Previous experience within a banking or financial services environment.
Familiarity with mortgage documentation or legal clerical work.
