Position Type: 6-Month Contract (Potential for extension or conversion)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (Potential for occasional overtime)

Responsibilities
As an Operations Officer II, your day-to-day responsibilities will be split between back-office queue management (80%) and internal partner communication (20%). Key duties include:
Account Management: Open new commercial deposit accounts and process account change requests (such as modifications to signing authority).
Documentation: Review, compile, and process complex legal and supporting documentation for account openings and maintenance via Letters of Direction.
Compliance & Risk Mitigation: Strictly follow AML, regulatory, and legal compliance requirements to mitigate risk for the institution.
Queue Management: Actively monitor and manage incoming queues to ensure all individual and team Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and benchmarks are met.
Collaboration: Attend team meetings and connect via MS Teams with internal partners to resolve customer and partner inquiries efficiently.
Qualifications
Must-Have Skills:
Operational Excellence: Proven experience in a previous administrative or operations officer role, with the ability to manage queues under pressure.
Fast-Paced Adaptability: Exceptional multitasking skills and a proven ability to thrive in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.
Compliance Awareness: A solid foundational understanding of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) compliance and banking regulations.
Technical Proficiency: Strong computer skills, including a basic understanding of the MS Office Suite (specifically Excel), and a minimum typing speed of 60–65 WPM.
Communication: Strong oral and written communication skills for seamless internal collaboration.
Education: High school diploma is required.
A self-starter with an eagle eye for detail who can seamlessly balance independent work with a team-oriented mindset.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
Previous experience working within a bank or financial institution.
Knowledge of Host applications and C3 systems.
