Work Location: Primarily Onsite (4 days per week onsite) at Markham, ON.
Start Date: February 16th.
Schedule: Rotational shifts between 8:00 AM and 7:00 PM (Monday to Friday), with one Saturday shift required every 4–5 weeks.
As a Credit Application Analyst, you will operate with a "Customer Centric" mindset to review, update, and analyze credit documentation for accuracy and adherence to all regulatory requirements. You will manage a variety of tasks associated with RESL products, utilizing multiple systems to ensure files are complete and ready for funding. This role is primarily back-office focused, with regular interaction with branch partners and mortgage specialists.

Responsibilities
Operational Support & Compliance
Document Analysis: Review and analyze all credit documentation for accuracy and adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies.
SLA Adherence: Prioritize and manage your individual workload to meet strict Service Level Agreements (SLAs) regarding service quality and productivity.
Data Integrity: Ensure complete and accurate data input into the origination system to assist in the preparation of loan documentation.
Verification: Reconcile and verify all required credit support material and documentation to support customers in obtaining credit.
Risk Mitigation: Interpret credit policies and legal requirements to ensure loan documents meet applicable standards; escalate non-standard or high-risk activities as necessary.
Relationship Management
Stakeholder Support: Provide guidance and support to business partners (branches and mortgage specialists) on a broad range of credit products.
Problem Resolution: Ensure partner and customer inquiries are handled appropriately, effectively, and in a timely manner.
Team Collaboration: Participate as an active member of a 15-person team, contributing to a positive, inclusive environment and sharing knowledge to enhance team expertise.
Qualifications
Mandatory Requirements
Experience: Previous experience working in a professional or corporate environment.
Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with branch partners.
Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and a high degree of attention to detail.
Education: Post-secondary education (Degree or Diploma) is required.
Location: Must be local to the Markham area and able to commit to 4 days per week onsite.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience with mortgage lending concepts or Real Estate Secured Lending (RESL) products.
Prior experience in a banking or financial services operational role.
