As an Operations Officer I, you will provide essential operational support by fulfilling government requests for information. Operating in a 100% back-office environment, you will navigate multiple databases and applications to ensure all business processes are completed accurately and within strict Service Level Agreements (SLAs). This role requires a professional who can exercise extreme discretion when managing sensitive customer data and confidential correspondence.
Work Location: Hybrid (4 days per week onsite) at Mississauga, ON.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM or 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (OT may be required based on volumes).
Duration: 04/13/2026 to 10/12/2026.

Request Fulfillment: Process government requests for information by accurately extracting and validating data from internal systems.
SLA Adherence: Manage and complete assigned workloads to consistently meet service and productivity requirements.
Compliance & Due Diligence: Apply necessary due diligence to ensure the accuracy of all transactions and activities in accordance with operating policies.
Risk Management: Identify and escalate non-standard or high-risk activities to management as necessary.
Confidentiality: Exercise high discretion in managing sensitive information and correspondence, ensuring full compliance with the Bank Code of Conduct.
Team Collaboration & Improvement
Collaborative Support: Participate fully as a member of an 18-person team, contributing to a positive, diverse, and equitable work environment.
Process Improvement: Think critically about current workflows and share ideas for process enhancements and operational efficiencies.
Knowledge Sharing: Keep team members updated on relevant information related to day-to-day activities and participate in cross-training opportunities.
Qualifications
Mandatory Requirements
Experience: 2–4 years of overall professional experience, ideally in a data-intensive or administrative role.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and comfort working with multiple databases and applications.
Attention to Detail: Exceptional accuracy and a strong focus on high-detail tasks.
Efficiency: Proven ability to multitask and meet strict deadlines/SLAs.
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for internal team coordination.
Education: Post-secondary degree or diploma.
Availability: Ability to commute to the Mississauga office (Tahoe Blvd) within 30 minutes.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in a Banking or Branch environment.
A background in Business or financial operations.
A proactive, adaptable "team player" mindset with an eagerness to stay long-term.
