This position is entirely back-office operational support, involving high-volume data entry and transaction processing related to complex financial market events. You will work independently within a highly collaborative team of 13 people, ensuring timely and accurate execution of all assigned tasks. While the role is primarily administrative, it requires a foundational understanding of equity and payment concepts to correctly oversee and execute income event processing.

Responsibilities
Income Event Processing Oversight: Oversee and manage the processing queue related to a designated letter range of income events, ensuring all transactions (payments and equity actions) are executed accurately and on time.
Operational Execution: Perform general administrative and data entry tasks with a high level of accuracy, demonstrating comfort with repetitive tasks and adherence to deadlines.
Risk and Compliance: Apply sound knowledge of financial market concepts and operational procedures to identify and escalate any non-standard or high-risk transactions.
Communication & Collaboration: Act as a strong team player, providing occasional support via internal communications (e.g., Teams calls, approx. 5% of the role) and contributing positively to the team environment.
System Utilization: Utilize MS Office Suite effectively and demonstrate technical savvy to quickly integrate with internal operational systems.
Qualifications
Mandatory Requirements (Must-Have)
Financial Knowledge: Mandatory experience and knowledge of Payments and Equity concepts and the Financial Markets.
Operational Experience: Minimum of 1–2 years of operational or administrative experience, preferably in a financial services environment.
Skills: Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite, proven data entry skills, and exceptional customer service skills (for internal partners).
Teamwork: Clear ability to function as an effective team player.
Education: College or University Degree.
Desirable Requirements (Nice-to-Have)
Prior experience in the banking industry.
Knowledge and experience with VBA (Visual Basic for Applications).
Demonstrable leadership potential or skills.
