As an Operations Officer III, you will be responsible for maintaining operational effectiveness across a broad range of processing activities. You will execute transactions accurately and on time, adhering to formal and informal guidelines while navigating high-volume workloads. This role requires a blend of analytical skills and time-management prowess to ensure that customer experience and loyalty targets are consistently achieved through back-office excellence.

Processing: Perform a variety of specialized transactions and processing activities for the Global Client Solutions functional area.
Accuracy: Ensure all transactions are completed with necessary due diligence, adhering to strict audit and process guidelines.
SLA Management: Prioritize and manage individual workloads to meet or exceed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for service and productivity.
Problem Resolution: Identify and escalate processing or operational issues promptly, utilizing established partner resolution processes.
Risk Management & Compliance
Audit Readiness: Contribute to satisfactory audit results by following precise procedural guidelines and maintaining detailed records.
Policy Adherence: Remain knowledgeable of and comply with Bank Codes of Conduct and internal operating procedures.
Risk Identification: Proactively identify areas of operational risk and escalate as necessary to management.
Continuous Improvement
Collaboration: Actively participate in daily team touch-points and work distribution huddles.
Innovation: Suggest and participate in process improvements and the adoption of new technology to enhance service delivery.
Qualifications
Mandatory Requirements
Experience: 2 to 4 years of professional experience in an operations or administrative role. (Note: This is an entry-to-intermediate level role; candidates with more than 5 years of experience may be considered overqualified).
SLA Proficiency: 1–4 years of experience working within a performance-measured environment governed by Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Volume Management: Proven ability to adhere to strict deadlines and handle high volumes of work with precision.
Technical Skills: Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office, with mandatory proficiency in Excel.
Analytical Skills: Excellent quantitative and analytical skills with a high attention to detail.
Organizational Skills: Superior time management skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
Education: Diploma in Business Administration or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
Industry Experience: 1–4 years of experience within a financial institution or banking environment.
Market Knowledge: Understanding of Money Market (MM) and Foreign Exchange (FX) products (e.g., Options, Spots, Forwards, Deposits, and Loans).
Systems Experience: Familiarity with Global and WSS platforms.
Investment Knowledge: General Canadian investment knowledge.
