As an Operations Officer II, you will perform a broad range of general to specialized transactions for the WNO Operations function. You will be responsible for the accuracy and integrity of income-related processing, ensuring that financial market standards are met. This role involves high-volume data entry and operational analysis, contributing to projects that strengthen our operating model and elevate service quality. You will work within a collaborative team of 13 professionals, reporting to the Team Manager.

Operational Processing & Support
Income Event Management: Oversee and process a specific range of income events, ensuring all transactions are executed accurately and on schedule.
Payment Execution: Manage payments and equity-related transactions, applying specialized knowledge of financial market products.
Data Integrity: Perform high-volume data entry and transaction processing with a focus on precision and audit-readiness.
Technical Troubleshooting: Utilize MS Office Suite and specialized banking platforms to fulfill requests and resolve processing discrepancies.
Analysis & Reporting
Performance Tracking: Contribute to analysis and reporting on critical projects or special initiatives to improve operational efficiency.
SLA Adherence: Prioritize and manage individual workloads to ensure all Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met.
Risk Mitigation: Identify and escalate processing issues or potential risks to the Team Manager to ensure service quality is maintained.
Collaboration & Communication
Team Engagement: Participate fully as a member of a 13-person team, supporting a positive and inclusive work culture.
Stakeholder Interaction: Engage in professional communication via MS Teams and email (approx. 5% of the role involves internal partner interaction).
Qualifications
Mandatory Requirements
Experience: 1–2 years of relevant experience in an administrative or operations role.
Industry Knowledge: Proven knowledge and experience in Payments, Equity, and Financial Markets.
Banking Sector: Previous experience within a Canadian banking or financial institution.
Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Excel).
Work Ethic: Ability to handle high volumes of work with speed and accuracy while adhering to strict deadlines.
Education: College or University Degree is required.
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced Technical Skills: Knowledge of or experience with VBA is a significant asset.
Kyndryl Experience: Prior experience working with Kyndryl systems is highly beneficial.
Leadership: Demonstrated leadership skills or the potential to take on lead responsibilities.
