Responsibilities
*Champion a robust safety culture, leading all initiatives, ensuring strict adherence to 5S activities, and maintaining compliance with corporate safety standards.
*Drive continuous improvement projects to maximize efficiency, reduce costs, and achieve the highest possible levels of productivity within the facility.
*Manage and provide direct leadership for the team involved in all warehousing functions, including shipping, receiving, picking, packing, and loading/unloading tasks.
*Ensure that all best practices and Standard Operating Procedures are strictly followed, including implementation of ISO 9000 procedures relevant to site operations.
*Take full accountability for employee development, performance management, training, and making critical staffing decisions such as hiring, promotions, and terminations.
*Analyze operational data daily to promptly resolve critical issues and identify opportunities for long-term strategic enhancements.
Qualifications
*Possession of a High School Diploma is mandatory, with a Bachelor's Degree in an applicable field considered a significant asset.
*You should bring a minimum of 7 years of successful Operational experience, ideally with proven team leadership experience.
*Demonstrated ability to lead significant business projects, manage schedules, and execute complex planning initiatives.
*Solid practical understanding of modern manufacturing principles, material flow logistics, and key improvement strategies like Lean Systems (ELS).
*Proven capacity to manage staff, conduct performance appraisals, and model the highest ethical standards and organizational values.
*You must demonstrate strong organizational skills in strategy, execution, and communication at all levels, along with acute financial and business acumen.
