Responsibilities
• Perform daily operational processing including data entry, validation, verification, and reconciliation
• Monitor and validate AS400 banknote invoices in line with standard procedures
• Review daily control reports and verify manual accounting entries
• Repair, verify/authorize, and release electronic and manual payments
• Monitor payment queues to ensure timely processing and end of day clearance
• Investigate and resolve outstanding items, payment exceptions, and operational issues
• Complete assigned online operational support cases within required timelines
• Liaise with banknote advisory desk, operations, and internal business partners
• Prepare monthly statistics, capacity, and performance reports
• Maintain accurate logs, trackers, and records per retention policies
• Prioritize daily tasks to meet deadlines and service level expectations
• Identify, recommend, and implement process improvements
• Support outsourced vault operations in Toronto
• Perform other operational duties as assigned
Qualifications
Qualifications & Experience: Required
• Experience in banking back office or financial operations
• Strong attention to detail and high accuracy in transaction processing
• Solid computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem solving skills
• Ability to work independently and meet daily deliverables
• Commitment to teamwork and collaboration
• Availability to work shifts and statutory holidays if required
Preferred / Assets
• Working knowledge of the AS400 system
• Experience with cash, payments, or vault related operations
Additional Competencies
• Proactive self starter with a continuous improvement mindset
• Ability to challenge the status quo and drive positive change
• Strong interpersonal skills and positive attitude
• Commitment to diversity, inclusion, and employee engagement
• Experience supporting global or multi site operations is an asset
