Responsibilities
Supervise daily shift operations, assign tasks to machine operators, and maintain target production schedules.
Lead pre-shift huddles, monitor KPI performance, and drive a culture of continuous floor improvement and operational accountability.
Manage shift administrative duties including attendance, operator scheduling, and performance coaching.
Oversee the safe, efficient operation and routine maintenance of plant utility systems, including high/low-pressure steam boilers, chillers, air compressors, and water treatment loops in accordance with TSSA regulations.
Support first-line mechanical and electrical troubleshooting alongside operators and maintenance technicians to minimize unplanned downtime.
Execute preventive maintenance (PM) schedules, manage CMMS work orders, and maintain accurate plant logbooks.
Qualifications
Certification: Active 4th Class (or 3rd Class) Operating / Power Engineering License (TSSA certified).
Experience: 3+ years of leadership experience in an industrial manufacturing, packaging, chemical, or continuous processing environment.
Technical Literacy: Hands-on experience with boilers, industrial refrigeration/chillers, pumps, continuous process loops, and basic PLC/electrical troubleshooting.
Leadership Style: Stro ng floor presence with a coaching mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage both production operators and maintenance tasks.
