Responsibilities
• Act as the primary point of contact for customer service requests and orders received via email and phone.
• Proceed with data entry and the accurate recording of customer orders in the system, ensuring complete compliance.
• Create detailed and professional submissions and quotes for customers, adhering to pricing and technical specifications.
• Perform rigorous verification of orders to identify any technical errors or inconsistencies, thanks to your mechanical affinity.
• Ensure follow-up of orders with different departments (logistics, warehouse) until complete delivery to the customer.
• Manage customer issues and complaints professionally and efficiently, maintaining a high level of Customer Relationship satisfaction.
• Actively support outside sales representatives by providing necessary information, documents, and administrative support.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of industrial distribution products and technical specifications.
Qualifications
• Significant experience (3 to 5 years) in an inside sales or customer service representative role.
• Advanced intermediate bilingualism (French/English) for communications with clients outside of Quebec (written essential).
• Demonstrate a strong mechanical affinity or possess relevant technical training (DEP, DEC).
• Excellent customer relationship and communication skills (mainly written, via email).
• Exceptional administrative rigor and attention to detail for order and data entry.
• Organizational skills and ability to manage priorities in a dynamic, results-oriented environment.
• Advanced proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP/SAP) systems.
• Autonomy, proactivity, and ability to work in a team to achieve sales objectives.
• Tolerance for stress and ability to work under pressure, especially to meet submission deadlines.
