As an Order Picker / Shipper / Receiver, your day-to-day duties involve picking items accurately according to work orders, packing products securely to prevent transit damage, and preparing shipments for various carriers. Additionally, you will handle incoming shipments by unloading trucks, inspecting goods for accuracy and quality, and logging items into the inventory system. • Pick inventory items accurately using pick lists, work orders, and sales orders
• Safely and securely pack products using proper packaging materials to prevent damage during transit
• Correctly label outbound packages with shipping details, order numbers, and required documentation
• Prepare order shipments for carrier pickup and safely load outbound trucks
• Unload incoming freight, verifying shipment contents against purchase orders and packing slips
• Inspect all received goods for damage, discrepancies, or shortages, reporting issues immediately
• Log received materials into the inventory/ERP system and route items to designated warehouse or production areas
• Maintain accurate shipping and receiving logs and execute periodic inventory cycle counts
• Operate standard warehouse equipment such as manual and electric pallet jacks safely
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workplace while adhering to all company health and safety protocols
Qualifications

• Proficiency with inventory management tools, basic computer data entry, and ERP software
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational capabilities
• Solid verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with production and purchasing teams
• Ability to accurately read and follow pick lists, shipping manifests, and work orders
• Practical knowledge of safe material handling and warehouse safety procedures
Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent qualification
• Previous experience as an Order Picker, Shipper / Receiver, or warehouse worker in an industrial or manufacturing setup
• Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs and stand or walk for extended periods during shift hours
• Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying ambient temperatures
• Experience operating basic warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, hand trucks)
