Responsibilities
Equipment Operation: Safely operate a Walkie Pallet Forklift to navigate aisles and retrieve palletized goods.
Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick food and consumer goods using an RF scanner, maintaining a high picking rate with zero errors.
Palletization & Labelling: Build uniform skids, label boxes precisely, and perform secure hand or machine skid wrapping.
General Warehouse Duties: Assist with case picking, sorting, inventory staging, and general dock tasks as directed by the supervisor.
Product Familiarization: Participate actively in initial manual staging duties to learn warehouse layouts and SKU locations quickly.
Qualifications
Experience: Minimum 2 years of order picking experience AND 2 years of forklift operating experience (Walkie Pallet truck).
Skills: Proven track record of high picking accuracy without errors; strong command of RF scanner technology.
Physical Demands: Ability to perform case picking and handle assisted lifting of 30 to 50 lbs as required.
Soft Skills: Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and team-collaboration skills.
Testing & Clearances: Must pass a pre-start forklift assessment and clear a mandatory background check.
