Advantages
Stability: Join a "family-first" culture with extremely high retention (the VP and Warehouse Manager have 25+ years of tenure).
Autonomy: Non-micromanaged environment where you are treated as a business partner, not just an employee.
Total Rewards: Competitive $85k base, uncapped commissions, 80% dental/medical coverage, and a $1,000 RRSP matching program.
Responsibilities
Business Development: Identify and close opportunities within plumbing wholesalers, landscape contractors, and mechanical contractors.
Specification Sales: Consult with engineers and landscape architects to have products specified into major GTA condo, infrastructure, and parking structure projects.
Full Cycle Management: Handle prospecting, technical quoting, and closing, with internal support for complex technical queries.
CRM Discipline: Maintain meticulous records of client interactions and pipeline stages within Salesforce.
Market Presence: Represent the brand at major industry trade shows in Ontario and occasionally internationally.
Qualifications
Experience: Minimum 3–5 years in Outside Sales within the drainage or civil construction sector.
Technical Aptitude: Ability to read blueprints and understand water management/infrastructure requirements.
Soft Skills: A collaborative "team-first" attitude; our client has zero tolerance for "lone wolf" or aggressive internal personalities.
Summary
This is an elite opportunity for a technical sales professional to "own" a territory for a globally recognized drainage brand. You will transition a dormant territory into a market leader through aggressive prospecting and relationship building.
