Responsibilities
Review loan and deal documentation.
Identify and validate collateral filings.
Review PPSA filings in Canada.
Review UCC filings in the United States.
Extract and track filing information in Excel.
Maintain accurate records and reporting logs.
Support collateral tracking initiatives and project deliverables.
Qualifications
MUST-HAVE HARD SKILLS
4+ years of experience in a legal, paralegal, law clerk, loan documentation, or secured lending environment.
Knowledge of PPSA filings (Canada) and/or UCC filings (United States).
Strong Excel proficiency and exceptional attention to detail.
Previous experience working in a law firm, legal department, or related legal environment.
Experience reviewing legal, loan, financing, or collateral documentation.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
SOFT SKILLS
Strong attention to detail.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
NICE-TO-HAVE
Paralegal certification or diploma.
Experience supporting secured lending, commercial lending, or collateral management functions.
Exposure to both Canadian and U.S. collateral filing processes.
