Responsibilities
In this Accounting Clerk role in Toronto, you will have the following benefits:
- Processing and coding vendor invoices, expense reports, and cheque requests accurately and efficiently.
- Managing the full cycle of accounts payable, including reconciliation of vendor statements and resolving discrepancies.
- Generating customer invoices and processing cash receipts for timely collection.
- Monitoring and maintaining the Accounts Receivable aging report and actively following up on overdue accounts.
- Assisting with month-end closing procedures, including journal entry preparation and reconciliations as required.
- Maintaining organized and comprehensive financial records and files, adhering to internal control policies.
Qualifications
We are looking for the following for this Accounting Clerk role located in Toronto:
- A post-graduate diploma or degree in either business administration or accounting is required.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience of AP and AR.
- Ability to work full hours on Wednesdays and Thursdays is a must.
- Experience working with Sage 300 or other similar software is a strong asset.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy is required.
- Strong communication is required for this role.
